The Procedure for the provision of medical services to foreign patients
- Kosmos Regional Children’s Center for Medical Rehabilitation shall provide planned medical care to foreign patients on a paid basis.
- If a foreign patient applies to Kosmos Regional Children’s Center for Medical Rehabilitation with a view to getting medical services, the foreign patient shall provide the medical documents confirming that the patient has a disease, which may be treated in the center. The documents shall be considered and the decision on the admission or refusal to admit for rehabilitation shall be made.
- Foreign patients (children) shall be admitted for hospitalization on the previously approved date provided that there are unoccupied beds at the relevant department. The duration of rehabilitation shall also be determined.
- Legal representatives or a person attending a foreign patient (child) execute a standard application and make the Service Agreement based on the above application.
- The Agreement shall specify
- the volume and cost of paid medical services;
- the period for the provision of services;
- payment procedure;
- rights, obligations and liability of the parties to the Agreement.
- The cost of the paid services shall be calculated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Belarus and the approved pricelists.
- The customer shall pay for the medical services at the Center. A responsible accountant shall accept cash from the customer and issue the customer a document confirming the payment
- The medical specialists of the center shall provide the paid services during their working hours.
- The medical specialists, who provide the paid medical services, shall keep the Paid Medical Service Register.
- After admission to a relevant department, a foreign patient (child) shall be provided with:
- a bed in a ward according to the terms of the Agreement;
- information on the provision of medical rehabilitation and other issues (if any);
- information on internal rules of conduct;
- information on rehabilitation plan according to the list of the paid medical services;
- information on the menu made on the basis of a patient’s age, nutrition pattern, disease;
- a regular follow-up by a responsible member of staff.
